Twenty years ago, I photographed Lauren’s Chappaqua Bat Mitzvah.
We reunited last week, along with her fiancé Brett, for their sunset engagement session in the Rockefeller Preserve.
Oh, their cute puppy is Marty.
Our special connection, only added to the joy of capturing Lauren and Brett’s loving and playful moments in the Hudson Valley’s golden light.

It was a call out of the blue! In January, a former groom, Charles, reached out to inquire about designing an album for his bride, Allie. His concern: their wedding was in 2012! Thirteen years later, did I still have their photos?

Of course, I had them – double backed up on hard drives. And when I opened them on my laptop, it was gratifying to see that those wedding photos had withstood the test of time – capturing the couple’s timeless beauty, joy, and love in the incomparable waterfront setting of the American Yacht Club.

This past Mothers Day, with his bride settled on the couch surrounded by their four children, Charles surprised Allie with her gorgeous album – custom-designed, then produced from a boutique, handmade company, @albumake, in Greece.

Charles reports: “Allie was thrilled!”
